D'lish

(With apologies to Bette Midler)
It must be cold there in Delicious' shadow. But D'lish is content to let its big sister shine; that's its way.

Divine Eggs Benedict (D'lish serves this at all hours; Delicious only serves this until 6pm, never without sunlight on its face). Did the chef ever know that he/she's our hero?

Bland, soggy crab meat angel hair pasta with coriander. If the waitress had asked us whether we liked this, we would have shown her beautiful smiles to hide our pain. We've got it all here in our heart.

Yummy tea-smoked salmon with zesty lime pesto. Thank you, thank you, thank God for you! Our appetites flew, flew so high against the sky, so high they almost touched the sky.

Roast leg of lamb (tough and overcooked) with garlic potatoes and (burnt) cauliflower. Why did you have to walk a step behind the salmon _ the one with all the glory and everything this poor lamb would like to be?

Banana pudding with vanilla ice cream. It might have appeared to go unnoticed (since we were stuffed by then). But we know the truth, of course we know it _ the meal would be nothing without this sweet finish.

D'lish,
